Your first visit to Lakeview Dental in Amherstview will be tailored to your specific needs. Whether you’re coming in for a routine cleaning or have an immediate dental concern, we are here to provide excellent, comprehensive care.
Routine Cleaning: During your first visit, we will review your dental history, provide a thorough cleaning, and offer a consultation on your oral health. We’ll discuss next steps and any areas that may need attention.
Immediate Dental Needs: If you have an urgent dental issue, your first appointment will include a detailed consultation, diagnosis, and discussion of treatment options. Often, we can begin treatment the same day.
When visiting us for the first time, please bring:
• Your referral slip
• A list of current medications
• Any X-rays taken within the last 6 months
• Proof of medical and/or dental insurance
Important Note: Patients under eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Advanced X-Ray Technology
At Lakeview Dental, we utilize cutting-edge X-ray technology to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. If your previous dentist has taken recent X-rays (within 6 months), please request that they forward them to our Amherstview office. If new conditions are present or emergency treatment is required, we may need to take new X-rays for a proper diagnosis.
